Voices get REALLY loud
A friend (Joe) has a new Win 7 pc with Realtek HD audio built in. Whenever he depresses his press to talk key, if someone else speaks, that person's voice gets amplified by more than a factor of two until Joe releases his key. Looking through the stickied posts, the closest refers to an echo. I went over Joe's audio configuration with him, and it appears he has done everything suggested. The microphone and its port are disabled in the Playback section. It is properly selected in the Recording section, however, his audio software version does not have the option to allow multi streaming (either in playback or recording mixer). Any suggestions?
