Creative Headset
 

I just bought the new Creative wireless World of Warcraft headset and have been using it in vent for about 3 days. Just tonight people started complaining that my voice is cutting out. So i started to troubleshoot it. I have gone to the windows properties and listened to myself talk (sounds fine) i have gone through all the codecs available to test with in the ventrilo setup page and they all sound fine. I just don't understand what could be causing the problem.

in vent setup, set the input device to enable 'use directsound then set the name to the creative headset.

set the outbound amplifier to 0

what's your upload bandwidth? [URL="http://www.speedtest.net"]www.speedtest.net[/URL]

what is the codec/format the server is using? rt-clik in window/view/server browser
