Default codec problem

hi
so im having an issue connecting to a vent server. whenever i connect and try to switch channels i get the error message: "Failed to get encoder for specified codec. this client platform supports only the Speex codec. The server and/or channel is configured to use the 'GSM 6.10' codec.'

how do i get this to work?

Apple does not include the GSM codec with their OS. contact the server owner and have them either convert the server to use the speex codec or create a specific channel for users that require the speex codec (like the mac clients)

either option only takes 5 minutes to setup.

There is some additional information in the Ventrilo Macintosh troubleshooting thread re: codec's and setup.
