Can't talk while in-game

Hello,
I am unable to use my hotkey to talk in-game. I have to have Ventrilo window as focus (which means I have to click out of game and can't play at the same time) and cannot use my hotkey while actualling continuing to play the game. Any help would be appreciated, it's quite annoying to have to click outside the game (in which case PWI freezes until u resume the game as focus) each time just to talk and run the risk of dying. Thank you.

[FONT=Verdana]if you're using Vista and PTT, try setting both Vent and any online game to ‘Run As Administrator’ (rt-click their icons)[/FONT]
