Vent not working with WoW

Ok ive been using vent for a while now and its been working fine. but when i tried using it today while playing WoW it wouldnt work.

its been working fine with the game before today, then today it just stopped working.

After testing some things i found out that its only wow it wont work with. my push to talk key works fine on internet pages, AIM, etc. but when using WoW i have to physically go back to ventrilo every time i want to speak.

While WoW is my active screen my push to talk simply doesnt work, ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still doesnt work.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Operating system: windows vista home premium

edit the ventrilo shortcut and enable "run as admin"
