Problems running vent for WOW

I have downloaded vent as a client for use in World of Warcraft. If I have the game up, and vent minimized, I can hear others speak, but when I pull vent forward to push to talk, I am unable to continue in Warcraft. Long story short, I am a new mac user. Can someone show me the steps to be able to run them in tandem, or is this an issue for mac's? Thanks

you don't need to pull vent forward to use PTT. i run in window mode on wow and just click the maximize button. that way i can hop over to the vent window quickly if i don't recognize a voice.

Go into System Preferences->Universal Access and check "Enable Access for Assistive Devices". Then quit and restart vent.

Bingo! I had the same issue but these two items in combination resolved it.

1) Universal access setup
2) Windowed Mode-Full Screen

The other thing that i had to do was unbind the key that I was trying to use since I had it already assigned to the WoW in-game voicechat system. Once I made sure the key was available (and wow voice chat was disabled), it worked like a charm.
