Is there any eta on the next version of Vent for mac?

And will there be more codec supports in it?

They have said the next major version "will solve the GSM problem."

There is no ETA and will not be one.

K, tobad on the ETA, but i guess I just have to w8 becouse when the admin changes codec to spexx, random ppl can not hear or speak on the vent server.

If u do have a solution to it then post it here

If they gave you an ETA, the server admin would just use that as a reason to quit trying Speex and would just make you wait until the release, however long that might be.

Have ALL Windows users upgraded to 2.3.2 beta 3?

Dont think so but ive spoken to ppl that say dosent solve the problem so...

The strange thing is that is not the same ppl all the time its random

Apparently the bug does not affect just the user's own transmission. In other words, user X can sound and hear fine, but by not upgrading, he can have an adverse affect on others.

Thus, it's important for ALL Windows users on the server to upgrade, whether they think they're having problems or not.
