Default small beep when I talk

I'm told people hear a light beep noise when I talk on vent. They liken it to a heart monitor or alarm clock. I never got this before on any of my other headsets, but just got a new one with a usb connector and the beeping started. I never used the usb connector before with any headset and never had this problem, but this new mic gives off a lot of noise if i don't use it with the usb connector. It's not the key clicks sound, or the windows default error sound. I never hear it, just other people on vent. Some times the beeping isn't there i'm told, but i can close vent and relog on without changing any settings and it will be back. Anyone have any Ideas how I can get rid of this? I have input and output both set to C-Media USB Headphone Set and no hardware mixer set. I have a soundblaster audigy sound card

It happens both with and without using Push to talk

Thanks for any help =)
