Default Long Delay after Lion upgrades

Is anyone else having an issue with a 10 - 15 sec delay when logging in to a server? Myself and one other person from my WoW guild have noticed that after we upgraded to Lion, that's when this delay started happening?

He is using an iMac and I am using a Mac Pro, both of us are on the latest 3.09 client.

are you reporting that it takes 10-15 sec before you see the users/channels displayed in the window?

Yes, it can take as long as 20 secs before all the channels show up and I can hear anyone in those channels, but before the Lion update it would connect and show everything in a just a few seconds, no where as long as it is now.

I just checked to see how much of a delay there is if I disconnected and reconnected to the same server. There is no delay reconnecting again, it's almost instant. So taking that info, it would seem that on the first launching of the program is where the delay is. I quit the program completely and relaunched it again, and 20 sec delay before anything shows up in the main window.

this problem might also be in relation to the spinning beachball lockup. The Devs are investigating.
