Issues with Mac

I have installed the latest version of ventrilo and I made sure that my group has speex updated. Also there is another Mac user that does not have a problem now but he did at one point but is currently out of country. Can you help. I have read some previous posts and I know that my groups server is updated to be speex instead of GSM.

Duh, I'm sorry. I should have read my post.

The problem is that I can connect with the server but the error about the speex codec comes up. So I asked my group and they said that it was set up to speex. So I took a look through my setup and I have the input and output on correctly and I know my mic works b/c during a test I can hear what I'm saying. I even did the Check box to enable assited devices and restarted Ventrilo and still no go. I can see the other people's speakers go grean but cannot hear them...and when I PTT I do not show up as green...and no one can hear me. At this point I don't know what else to try.

If the error comes up, the server is not set to Speex.

Perhaps it was set to speex and it got set back to GSM after an upgrade by their provider or some such.
