Well it looks like things have been put in Documents and in Program files. What I wrote above are the data I found in Documents. Looking at the files in Program Files now, I still cannot find an INI file there. Thse files mainly consist of the manual.

the ventrilo4.ini file is located in:

C:\Users\{user name}\Documents\VentriloData

or

This PC > documents > VentriloData

your system might be setup to not display the INI extension, so file explorer will only show it as ventrilo4

if you don't see the extension then you can rt-click on the file name and select 'properties' and that will show all the details.

it doesn't matter as vent will create a new one at restart.
