Default Push to talk key / Controller

I'm using Windows ME and I'm trying to use the Push-to-Talk keys but it's not working

I setup my Hotkey, select "Use DirectInput to detect Hotkey" and then when I go to Controllers it's blank. I tried going to "Game Controllers" in the Control Panel and adding my mouse/keyboard

Basically, it's not recognizing my keyboard as input. Any ideas?

Mouse and keyboard are not controllers. Just go to the hotkey input window and press a button.

I did exactly that, and it doesn't recognize it. My settings are exactly the same as the PC with Windows XP that DOES work with Vent

Any ideas?

First things first. Go to windows update and update all updates to your computer . This will rule out human error. When you have done that step, try again. If at that time you cannot get an answer please join my personal server at voice.hypernia.net:3813 for personal free online help

Me is not very Vent friendly (compared to XP)
