Default How do I go about

Locating my Server_ini file

I know dumb question, but I searched on here and didnt have any luck.

I can not find my admin password and if I am able to locate this file then it should (going off of what I read while searching) be in that text.

Ive went under my program files/ventrilo/docs and all that is there is a simple server text. I can open it, but none of that info is present. There are several other files in the docs folder but none contain this info (at least that I saw).

If it helps I am running vista with a 216MB Nvidea card on my lap top.

I cant believe I didnt write down the password .

When I go under start/programs I then do not have a ventsrv file. I simply have a ventrilo file that has the program in it.

I can do start/program/ventrilo/

then I have the option of a Docs folder with a lot of other html/txt items.

that file path indicates the client program, not the free server.

are you renting a server? if yes then you need to access your hoster's control-panel in order to change any server passwords. note:the server needs to be restarted after changing the password.

Yes I am paying monthly for the server through ventrilo. How do I go about getting in touch with the host when all of the contact info is gone? My email has deleted the contact info with them since it was past the date it holds emails.

Just dumb overall on my part for not saving them.

You know the hostname of the people you're buying the server from. Go to their website and contact their customer service.

For example, if my server were dog.typefrag.com, I'd go look on typefrag.com and get their customer support number.

All I have on my billing information is Teamspeak2. I go to the teamspeak forums and I get

TS = Teamspeak why would we host a ventrilo program.

Fun stuff I tell you!

As far as who its rented by, unless there is a way for me to find that info in the files/program itself I am at a loss since obviously my Bill from teamspeak isnt for this program...
