Mac OS x 10.6.8 Vent PTT Problem

Hello. I was recently in a game of warcraft with a friend using vent when it suddenly stopped working. I could still hear my friend just fine but my PTT key has quit working, lighting up, or transmitting outgoing sound. I tried changing my PTT key to no avail. Switched the USB everything's plugged into, but when I go into the setup and test it works just fine. I've checked my universal access and enable access for assistive devices. Turned it off restarted comp and turned it back on. Removed my old vent client and installed the new one and it still has my preferences saved. So I checked my library > receipts and there was nothing to remove. I really don't know how to uninstall it completely and just start fresh. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

on vent main window at bottom, is 'mute mic' box checked?

don't know how the hell it got muted but you are now my hero. may a statue be raised in your likeness. all the technical shit i know and went thru. every once in awhile it's good to be humbled. ty good sir.

When playing WOW game with vent active, I can not get the PTT mic to work when the vent window is behind the game window. I can hear everything with the window in either position. I followed the trouble shooting directions listed in Item 8 in the Mac Trouble Shooting forum. I also changed to several different PTT keys. Problem still persists.

what key are you using for ptt?

what version of mac OS are you running?
