Searched forums but don't see any solution for mac user:
Someone frequently in the server I'm in has very screechy high pitches sounds whenever they say something with an "s" in it. How do I adjust my incoming EQ to get rid of this painful pitch? Preferably just for this player of course. Thx |

Are any other users hearing the sound or is it just on your client?

No everyone is hearing it, for some reason it bothers me more? or my hearing is more sensitive? dunno.
I could ask this user to...get a new mic, would rather not and just be able to EQ the incoming sound on my end from this user though. |

sounds like the other user is overdriving the mic signal
first have the problem user check his vent setup. both amplifiers should be set to 0 line input(mac) or line volume(windows) should be set to a midway position windows audio drivers should be checked for possible updates. can you find out what type system the other user has? |

I Guess i'll try asking them. I was hoping I could deal with it on my end. Guess I can't.
