Ive been using vent for a few years now and i never had a problem playing wow and talking on vent.
i just got my computer back from the mac store due to some hardware issues so i had to completely erase everything and start fresh. i reinstalled vent and set it up how i had it but for some reason i cant play wow and talk at the same time. the only way for me to do it is to be on the vent window hold down my PTT button and switch over to wow but as soon as i let go no one can hear me again. i dont even hear the click sound that it plays when you press on your PTT button before you talk. any suggestions? |

you probably need to re-apply this setting:
Exit Vent Goto - System Preferences -> Universal Access -> Enable access for assistive devices (turn it on) Then restart Ventrilo |

Check to see if your PTT key is already bound to something else in WoW - the WoW will 'take control' of they key.
ESC->Key Bindings and look for the PTT key being assigned to something else. |

You probably need to make sure that you've checked "Enable access for assistive devices" in the Universal Access control panel.
