Default IP logging

Is there any sort of method of logging IPs of people that connect to and leave a server? If there is, would it be through the client side, or is it something that a server admin would have access to?

if you have the RCON permission you can scan the server log file for a keyword.

the command is:

loggrep

example:

loggrep 20 LOGON

this will show the last 20 lines with the keyword - LOGON

with the ipaddress and username of those that logged in.

other keywords are:
(case sensitive)
