Problem with Text Chat for international language

I'm Thai and sometime use text chat to send URL link between friends.

So I found out that the text chat in Mac can use only english characters.

When I typed Thai character for example "ภาษาไทย" it will display "¿“…“‰∑¬"

I guess that may be the character encoding problem because in Windows version there is no problem.

In Mac, they always use unicode encoding but in Windows, they use ASCII encoding.

Could you help find the way to fix this?
