Default Can't save settings :(

Hi i hope you guys can help me. I'm trying to set it up so i can "play DJ" while in vent but i cant save the settings on each separate vent. i can open them both up and change settings and it'll work fine but if i close them both and reopen them they have the same settings again. Hope you can help.

My osx is 10.6.7 yes i have 2 separate user names. Here's how i'm setting it up just in case. I made a duplicate of ventrilo and named it vent 2 and moved it my desktop just to keep them apart. to play music i'm using vlc player and soundflower. Where i'm running into trouble is when open vent 2 i turn off ptt and set in and out to soundflower 2ch, close it out and when i open the vent the vent i plan on talking in it has all of vent 2's settings. I hope this bit of more info helps.

ah - you can't do it like that.

The settings for vent are stored in your user folder and no matter how many copies (instances) of vent you have in your user account, they will pull their settings from the same folder.

You need to create a new user account on the computer, install vent in that account and then you can have two separate ones running simultaneously. However, you have to switch users to access one or the other.
