Exclamation Other People Can't Connect To My Vent Server!

i can connect to my ventrilo server perfectly, using localhost as the ip/hostname, my daughter cannot connect to my ventrilo server using our current ip, i gave our ventrilo info to a couple of our friends, no one could connect to our vent, i tried port forwarding on our router and firewall, still the same problem

on the portforwarding, try creating 2 separate entries for port 3784, one for TCP and one for UDP

can you post pics of the router portforward windows.

did you give other users your external (WAN) ipaddress?

you need to add a porforward entry for 6100 UDP

you can get your WAN address here - http://www.ventrilo.com/myip.php

outside users will enter your WAN address and port 3784

If you are connecting to your own public IP address, then it is probably your (lousy) router not supporting loopback connections. Connect to your own LAN IP instead.

This usually resolves my issue even at work. I am currently busy with the marketing promotion of Petstreetmall. There's an up to 30% discount on the dog crates, cat beds, and more.
