Cool Failed to get encoder for specified Codec

That is the message i get when i try to connect Vent to the server :

Failed to get encoder for specified Codec.

This client platform currently supports only the Speex codec. The server and/or channel is configured to use the 'GSM 6.10' codec.

I run a MacBook Pro, on OSX 10.5.2

I see all my friends in the main Ventrilo window, but i ear nothing and nobudy ears me. Wy?

Thanks. :

When is Vent/Mac going too fix this? Im playing wow and we are about 300 members. They are all using PC except for 2. And my GM says he cant change this because he is leasing our Ventrilo server. Hope Vent/Mac will come up with a fix for this soon...

Unless Apple adds GSM to the Operating System (unlikely), it won't be added.

Your GM can change it on a leased server - he can do it through his web based control panel or by contact his hosting provider.
