Question Lower or mute other sound when incoming sound

Is there any way of doing this.
Lower or mute other sound when incoming sound?

So if I am playing a game and someone talks in ventrilo.
The game volume is lowered to like 25% or maybe muted.
Then when they stop talking the volume restores.
I want this because if i play CS and end up in a firefight and then someone says something over ventrilo.
Even if I'm in a firefight I want to herar what he says.

If this is not possible maybe someone canb give me some other tips.

there isn't any way to control the game sound but you can increase the vent volume. in vent > setup, increase the 'inbound amplifier' slider. this will make all incoming voices louder.
