Hi, I connect fine on my guild's server, I hear everyone and as well as the system messages, i have push to talk set and when i do, i get the green icon and the XMIT message, but NO ONE can hear me, have checked all the settings, and am using a new logitech headset???
cant find any help on line about this! PLEASE respond if you know how to fix the problem ibembel@mac.com thanks |

A Macintosh cannot use a standard PC headset. It needs line-level input, not mic-level.
Either use a USB headset or get a Griffin iMic to use with your current headset. |

I have the same issue (all users are on iBooks or PowerBooks). We noticed that the problem applies only to the FIRST person to connect (the first person to connect can hear everyone, but no-one can hear that person). Everyone who connects afterwards is fine. I can't see the problem being hardware related as all the users have experienced the problem when being the first to connect, but they all work fine when they are not the first to connect.
As a workaround I use one off my older iBooks to be the first to log in, then actually use another laptop afterwards (leaving the first iBook connected, but unused). |

My problem is that when I talk, all the other people can hear from me is static. I've checked all the connections, etc, but don't know what's wrong.

make sure that the others hearing static (if windows users) are running ver 2.3.2.beta.3 of the windows client. the beta version corrects a problem when using the speex codec. also, the beta version is production quality.
