With version 7 my BT headset (Jabra 250v) works for about 5 minutes than I can't hear anyone but they can hear me. Quitting and restarting would again work for a few minutes then silence on my end. We have a fairly busy Venty server if that matters.
Switching to Built-In mic (iMac G5) worked fine. Last edited by gilroykilroy; 01-24-2006 at 11:53 AM. |

No errors listed in the log file. Takes less than 5 mins to reproduce 100%.

You have a URL for the headset?

Motorola HS805 BT headset; D-link adapter with latest firmware; it does not cut out with other sound input or output.

I am also experiencing the mentioned problem with a D-Link (latest Firmware) and a Logitech Mobile Freedom headset.
The sound drops randomly after about 5min - longest time running without problems was about 20min. ---- edit: prototype 7 btw |

I've been using a Logitech Bluetooth headset, with a built in PowerBook BlueTooth adapter. As with all the other posts the audio output in the headset drops out. Other people on the chan can still hear me, however I need to restart vent to get it working again. If I change the audio output to something else, e.g. built in audio, it works for ever. From the limited testing I've done so far it seems there's an issue when it's sending audio to BT devices only, I haven't experienced any problems with the mic component of the equation.

Instead of restarting the program, what happens if you just check "mute sound" for a second and then uncheck it?
