Default 'Unable to connect to server.'

Alright. So, just yesterday I was about to connect to Ventrilo on the server and channel I use. But there was a friend of mine that I wanted to help (who uses a Macintosh) and I fooled around with the Codec.
Today, I tried to connect and it came up as 'unable to connect to server'. I'm positive I have the right information.
But if I go to the setup, my Codec is blank, when it used to be GSM 6.10. If I try to change it back to normal, it resets.
Does anyone who what the problem is/how to fix it? x:

The codec menu only has an effect when you are running tests. The codec is set by the server and when you connect to the server the menu will change to reflect the codec for which that server is configured.

Unable to connect to server is generally a temporary problem caused by the server being down, or an Internet routing problem.

What's the server name and port?
