I've tried a USB mic and my iBook's internal mic but I can't hear any sounds from vent, not even the key clicks. I've adjusted the sound levels. The sound works in everyother app.
I know this is pre-release software and there are features missing. I would just like to get the sound to work. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

Key clicks isn't supported yet. Forgot to mention that on the mac status page.

No sounds play currently such as a person joining a server, key click sound, person leaving and such in this prototype. As for hearing other people, make sure the server is using the Speex codec. You should get a warning if it is not running the Speex codec.
As for hearing yourself in testing, even with the Speex codec or no codec at all, I can not hear myself after the test. But it seems the Monitor works though. |

The server is set up for Speex. Monitor is working but I can't hear myself in testing or hear what people are saying in the server.

It is a Logitech but forget which one and I can't see it on the Logitech website either. It uses the standard mini-banana plug (same look as the earphone connection).
It is attached to an Macally iVoice II. |
