Default Get my iTunes music to come out of my speakers instead of headset

Hello I'm currently running my vent throughout my realtek audio soundcard and my headset is a 2 input (headphone + mic) set. I have it configured so that all of the sound comes through my headset and I was wondering how i could make it so only people talking in vent would go through my headset and all of the rest of the sound coming from my computer (itunes + game music) coming from my external speakers.

Thank you

if you are not using 5.1 speakers then can do this

plug the headphone in the rear speaker jack.
enable 5.1 speaker configuration for your sound card.
Open Setup
enable directsound for the output device.
Click SFX
Click surround.
Add the 3D Surround option.
Move the slider all the way to Rear.

ok I did everything you asked and it can only still come out 100% in the headphones or 100% in the external speakers

if i were to replace my output jack with my headphones as you instructed, where should i place my external speaker jack?

your speakers will be in front and the headset in the rear.
