Post screenshots of your router WAN IP address, your portforwarding config and the IP configuration of the interface on your server.

Ok, so now the problem is ever so slightly different. using the ventrilo-status prog, I can check from another computer that the server is running fine on both local address and on external address (68.54.9.90). However, even with no password, i cannot connect to either of these.

where you can see that both addresses are responding, however ventrilo will not connect.

Two things:

1) Have you permitted Ventrilo in the firewall on OS X on the server machine (if you have the OS X firewall running)?

2) In your port forwarding setup, don't use a protocol of "both." Create separate entries for TCP and UDP.

1) just enabled it, I forgot Mac had a built in firewal =|
2) Ok, done. Now testing...OMG!!! I CONNECTED!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
