If I hold down my push to talk key while someone else is talking, their audio gets played back to them. No matter what I've tried, this echo does not seem to go away. I'm using a Logitech USB headset.

thx for the post.
first, set the hardware mixer=none and the outbound amplifier to 0. if you need to adjust the mic volume level the clik the 'recording' button and adjust it level from the windows sound setup. in voice-binds-speech tabs, set the output device name to logitech
Description: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) Default Sound Playback: Yes Default Voice Playback: No Description: Speakers (Logitech USB Headset) Default Sound Playback: No Default Voice Playback: Yes
the problem might also be due to the speaker settings in red. 1 device should probably be both 'yes' and the other both 'no' check the gateway website for any/all updates for your model. BIOS, chipset, drivers (except video) then goto windows c-panel > sounds > playback & recording tabs. in playback > set either the realtek speaker or logitech to the 'default' device (select device then clik 'default' button in recording > set the logitech to the defautl device then disable all other un-used devices: Disabling non-essential Audio Devices - Vista/Windows-7 Windows Control-Panel > Sound > Playback & Recording tabs > rt-click in the window and select "Show Disabled Devices" and "Show Disconnected Devices" > rt-click on all unused devices and select "disable" re-run the dxdiag and check the yes/no settings in the 'sound devices' section.
