Default G19 Support

Hi Vent Developers,

I went out today and paid the big $'s for the G19 keyboard. Before buying I went through all the Logitech sites/forums about third party software supported under the mac client. Vent was one the other was WOW. I had not realised that the code had to be compiled by the third party vendors themselves. So when Logitech write that vent is supported I wonder if they realise that they have not included us mac users in the compile.

Anyway, I have a little time on my hands at the moment and would be more than willing to help write the compile code for the sdk hooks. Shout out if you want a hand - seriously. otherwise would you mind doing us Mac users a favor and at least giving us a bit of a time frame.

Thanks again for such a great product.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the update. Are you able to give any time indications when the 3.05 mac client will be released?

This has taken longer than I thought it would only because I had run into some serious compiler related issues that had been driving me nuts for over 2 months.

However, just yesterday I finally figured out what the problem was and will now be able to continue the implementation on the Mac client for G13/G15/G19 support.

Default Compiler Issues

Hey Man,

Know where you are coming from. Had a quick look at some of the sdk compile notes. It does not look like they made the integration easy. Especially on the linux side with the cross compile. Thought that might be an issue. See my original thread note.

Seriously yell out if you need some assistance.

Regards and thanks for the effort,

Ath.

Mind if I ask for an update on your progress? Or possibly an ETA on 3.0.5? Best of luck with all the dev work. Thanks in advance!

G13/G15/G19 support for the Mac client is moving right along. However, we are having problems with the Logitech SDK that would currently prevent its official release. We are currently trying to get some support from them to resolve these issues.

FYI,
