Default PTT Problem after update 10.5.7

Hello.

Ever since i installed update 10.5.7 for OSX i have been getting the following problem with push to talk. Before the update i would press my ptt key, talk and depress the key with no problems.

Now, after the update i press the ptt key, talk and if i depress it as soon as i stop talking the last 2 seconds of what i said gets cut off.

It would seem like some sort of input lag or something but i'm lost and its really annoying having to press ptt a second or two after you stopped talking. Any help resolving this would be appreciated.

Thanks,

in vent setup/network tab, did you change either of the 'voice stream' numbers from the default of 4 ?

in the voice tab, are the input/output devices set to the correct sound device name? (other than default)

Macintosh and PTT

Exit Vent
Goto - System Preferences -> Universal Access -> Enable access for assistive devices (turn it on)
Then restart Ventrilo

Already did all steps but the problem is still there, although its not constant, it comes and goes.

Will try a different headset.
