Default Cannot hear/speak.

I log on, I get a error message saying:

"Failed to get encoder for specific Codec

This client platform currently supports only the Speex codec. The server and/or channel is configured to use the 'GSM 6.10' codec."

I have gone into System Preferences => Universal Access & enabled access for assistive devices. I have also been reading a few questions in this forum regarding the "hearing/speaking problem" and I'd just like to point out that I am not on WoW or any such game.

& If the Admin changed the server to the Speex codec would that mean that the other people running on GSM 6.10 wouldn't be able to talk?

Do you know what's up & if it is possible to fix this problem?

If the admin changes the server to Speex, the people using GSM would automatically start using Speex.

The only fix is to have the server administrator change the server to Speex.
