I also didnt have the installer app in...

I also didnt have the installer app in /applications/utilities but the above command worked.

So found it:P If you dont have installer.app you can use following:

go to your terminal.. navigate to where you unziped ventrillo:
and try following command:P

sudo installer -pkg...

in my /Applications/Utilities i only have...

in my /Applications/Utilities i only have "MacBook Pro EFI Firmware Update.app".
What is the installer name so i can search for it on my hdd?

I have mac os 10.04 i downloaded ventrilo-2.3.2.Prototype.15-Darwin-universal.pkg.zip from ventrilo site. unziped the file and got a directory...
