Try going into BF2, disabling in-game voice chat,...

Try going into BF2, disabling in-game voice chat, then exiting BF2 and starting up Ventrilo. This will remove any conflict between BF2 and Ventrilo for your sound card.

Ability to restrict server admin features. Useful for hosting services.

For those of you who want to know....you have to enable phantom users under the channel options and then right click on the CHANNEL you want to put the phantom user in.

i really really love this idea. BUT...is there any way to make it so that other users that arent admins cannot see the phantom? with a name like phantom, i'd think it could be invisible....
